Carson Palmer Status
Carson Palmer injured his throwing arm early in the season. He was expected to have surgery but it now appears that the sugery will not be necessary. He should be cleared on March 1, 2009. He works his arm out everyday at his winter home in California. He was throwing nerf footballs during the middle of the season and can now throw a regular football with a limited amount of throws. Palmer says that he can cut it loose now and is throwing longer than twenty-five yards and feels no pain. Carson Palmer played in only four games this past season. He is the essential element to this team and he has to be healthy for the Bengals to have a successful season.
