Laveranues Coles was one of the two key signings in the 2009 offseason. Last season, he played for the New York Jets and was their top reciever. He had 70 receptions for 850 yards and 7 touchdowns. He chose not to stay for the last season as an option on his contract. Laveranues Coles will be a very good veteran reciever for the Bengals as long as he is healthy. Fortunately for the Bengals, Coles has a history of being healthy. Carson Palmer is very excited to have Coles as another reciever for him. The Bengals had to get another good reciever to make up for the loss of Houshmandzadeh. Coles sees himself as Chad Ochocinco's sidekick and is looking forward to working with the team.
